RMB Projects were asked to provide 2 furniture schemes for the Hallward Library Café and Vespers Bar for Nottingham University. Our brief “to create more colour, comfort and rhythm to currently sterile, symmetrical and lack lustre environments.” With good direction from the university senior catering operators, RMB proposed two schemes specifying several fabrics from the vibrant Abbotsford and Aqua ranges, upholstering a variety of dining chairs, high stools, lounge and contemporary wingback armchairs to create an interesting mix of style, shape and colour, set against walnut and wenge table tops and frames. The schemes were completed to budget and to programme achieving positive reactions from the client.
